Well, it was fun while it lasted... THIS WAS THE EXPANSION PAGE... Due to a lack of TIME, I will be concentrating all of my efforts on my original film blog. Remake: Nooooo! I've just read about a remake of 'Childs Play'! Can someone please comment on this so I don't feel like the only one in the universe who is opposed to this!
Oh Lord..... I remember seeing this in the theater by myself as a very young girl!! I am very scared at the thought of what they plan on doing to this movie!! A modern treatment to a killer doll??! Oh please. This is a disaster in the making.
Yes. Part of the charm of the 1988 original, besides the wise-cracking red-headed bastard doll, were the innovative animatronics and puppeteering techniques used to bring 'Chucky' to life. It goes without saying that a remake, like most these days, will probably contain lots of cheesy CGI. And I dread the thought of what the reboot 'Chucky' doll will look like...
